Maggie Kraft has been the Executive Director of the Area 1 Area Agency on Aging serving Humboldt and Del Norte Counties since 2012. She contributes more than 38 years of experience working in services for older adults and strong advocacy for older adults and people with disabilities to C4A.
Prior to her current role, Maggie spent 12 years as the Director of Adult Day Health and Alzheimer’s Services at the Humboldt Senior Resource Center and 10 years as the executive director of Northcoast Advocacy Services, which ran the Long-Term Care Ombudsman and Senior Legal Services programs.
She has a master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento and a bachelor‘s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz.
